How To: Brown Smokey Glitter Eyes

My go to look for a night out is brown smokey eyes, I never really use black as I find it really harsh and very hard to pull off. Sometimes I like to add some glitter to add a little extra dimension, for this look I used a gorgeous rose gold glitter eyeshadow from Wet n’ Wild that I purchased in the states.

Step 1:

Using the white shade in the Rimmel Glam Eyes Smokey Brown quad as a base, I pop it all over the lids of my eyes.

Step 2:

Then taking the lighter brown shade in this quad pat it over the top of the white, so that the white is not as harsh.

Step 3:

Using the dark brown in the kit put this shade in the crease of the eye. Using wiper motions blend the two shades together, ensuring there are no harsh lines.

Step 4:

Taking more of the dark brown shade apply in a v shape to the outer corner of the eyes, extending out to create a cat eye shape. Again blend blend blend!

Step 5:

Taking the rose gold glitter eyeshadow from Wet n’ Wild apply just to where you have applied the dark brown – into the crease and on the outer v.

Step 6:

Using Eyeko’s skinny eyeliner draw a line across your top lash line and extend out as far as the brown eyeshadow to create that cat eye look.

Step 7:

Final step is to apply lashings of your favourite mascara, mine is L’oreal telescopic in blackest black.
