Nails of the Day: The Halloween Edition

I love a theme and with Halloween fast approaching today my nails are scarily easy! I have created three different Halloween inspired styles, blood dripping, ghosts and spiders webs. They are all really simple styles to create and would make the perfect addition to your Halloween outfit. Here is how I created them:

Step 1:

Using Barry M’s Matte White as the base colour, I painted two coats.

Step 2:

To create the blood dripping effect, using Orly Monroe’s Red, I dotted on four dots. Then I simply connected the dots up to the top of the nail to create the dripping look.

For the ghost nails I used a black nail pen and created two circles for the eyes and one for the mouth. For a better effect blur the edges of the circles slightly to give a shaky effect.

Step 4:

On the thumb nail I decided to create a spider web. Using the black nail pen draw three lines across the nail starting from the outer corner. Then join the lines together in a swooping motion.

Step 5:

Finish with a clear topcoat to lock in the look.
