How To: Winged Eyeliner

For tonight’s makeup look I wanted to go for a sleek winged eyeliner with lots of lashes and finish it off with a pink lip. I know there is a lot of people that struggle with winged eyeliner so I thought it may be helpful to show how I do it. I have broken it down into 3 easy steps and remember practice makes prefect!

IMG_1831Step 1:
Using Rimmels Glam Eyes Liquid Liner in black, lightly trace the top of your lash line. Make sure not to have too much product on your applicator as this will lead to mistakes and smudges. Let your lash line be your guide and go slow to avoid any mistakes.

Step 2:
Grab a business card or something you can use as a guide, place it at an angle at the outer corner of your eye and taking the eyeliner draw your wing. Don’t draw it too long or light as you want it to be slightly thick.

Step 3:
Then go back over the top of your lash line to make the line a little thicker and connect it to the wing.

I then added false eyelashes and a little mascara on top and bottom lashes. If you are using falsies you will need to go back over the lash line with the eyeliner to get rid of any evident of the glue and just to ensure everything is sleek.

Step 2: Then using Revlon’s Colorstay Ultimate Suede lipstick I popped a coat over the lip liner and blended.

Hope you find these eyeliner tips helpful and have a great weekend!
