Skincare Shopping Spree

Creams, cleansers, moisturisers, oils, masks, I love them all, especially when they smell devine and work wonders for your skin. At the weekend I went on a bit of a Skincare Shopping Spree and picked up some gems that I can’t wait to use. Here is what I purchased:

L’Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water: Isn’t every brand bringing out a micellar water right now? Considering Bioderma dominated this market up until now, I am surprised it took all the beauty brands so long to bring out their version. I love micellar waters as they are great for dissolving makeup, making the process of taking off your face that little less painful. It’s also great for cleaning brushes. This one from L’oreal promises to not only dissolve makeup but also to purify the skin and unclog pores, whilst toning and soothing. IMG_2821

Neutrogena Visibly Clear pink grapefruit oil-free moisturiser: So I have only used this twice but I already love it, it smells delicious and instantly makes your skin feel so fresh and soft. The grapefruit is not overpowering like in some fragranced skincare, with the scent disappearing quite quickly. IMG_2824

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot Stress Control Daily Foaming Wash: I picked this up as I love face washes that foam up, it makes it feel like it is really working it’s magic. This one promises to help reduce breakouts and fight spots for visibly clearer skin, I am yet to use it but will be putting it to the test soon.

Simple Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion: This is a repurchase because it is a must have, it cleanses my skin like no other, it gets off every ounce of makeup including that tricky mascara.IMG_2818

Nip + Fab Frown Fix: Ok, I’ll admit it I seen this and thought “oh isn’t this the brand Kylie Jenner is now representing?” and basically just had to try it #weak I have yet to trial this but I think it is never too early to tackle fine lines and this new product promises to instantly plump + smooth the appearance of fine lines + wrinkles. We shall see. IMG_2816

Garnier Pure Long-Lasting Shine control moisturiser: I picked this up thinking it would be great base for foundation as it would help create a matte finish but unfortunately I have not been loving this. It smells horrible and I couldn’t notice any real oil control. Moisturisers should smell delicious and make you want to load it on to your face not the other way around – won’t be repurchasing this one.
