Night Time Skincare Routine

As much as I love to wear lots of lovely makeup throughout the day, there is no better feeling than when you get home and get to wash it all off. It feels fantastic after a long day to let your skin breath and treat it to some lovely products. I always try to stick to the same routine because I think that’s best when it comes to skincare as it will lead to fewer breakouts. Here are the products I love to use at night time to get my skin feeling really lush.

Step 1 – Remove Eye makeup

This is the hardest and most time consuming step because mascara is my ultimate favourite and I just love to load it on and we all know how hard it is to remove lots of mascara. I use the Simple Kind to Eyes Nourishing Eye Make-up Remover Cream and use cotton pads to get every ounce of makeup off. This is a great product and a little goes a long way.

Step 2 – Remove makeup

Using the L’Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water on a cotton pad, I cleanse my entire face and neck to remove all my face makeup. This is a really light product that works really well.

Step 3 – Cleanse

I absolutely love the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish as it makes the skin feel super clean and fresh. Firstly you rub the product on to your face, then taking a warm muslin cloth, you remove all the product for a lovely smooth finish. A cheaper alternative that I love is, the Simple cleanser, it is absolutely fantastic and is so soft and creamy, I use this one with cotton pads.

Step 4 – Tone

To tone my skin I use the Molton Brown Skincare Tamarind Fruit Refining Toner. I love this one as it is really light and smells great.

Step 5 – Moisturise

My favourite step. I have recently been using this Garnier moisturiser that I mentioned previously here – I absolutely love it. It is the perfect consistency and it doesn’t take ages to sink into the skin like some moisturisers do. It smells lush and really improves the moisture and softness of my skin.
