What is better than amazing makeup? Amazing cheap makeup that’s what! Makeup Revolution is dangerously affordable meaning it is super easy to justify buying an abundance of the stuff, which I did quite recently and now lots of lovely new makeup buys are getting comfortable in their new home.
This look was created using the Makeup Revolution Pink Lights Highlighter, Baked Bronzer in Golden Days, Awesome Double Flick Eyeliner and I wasn’t mixed up lipstick.
Here are the newest makeup recruits:
First up is this cute little eyebrow kit, it includes 3 different brown shades, a gel for setting, a mini brush and mini tweezers. I really like the brush in this kit as it is perfect for applying the powder but I must admit the shades seem to have a slight red twinge to them when you apply them to the brows which obviously doesn’t look great, perhaps the lighter shade would have been the better option.
I am not the biggest fan of these pan stick concealers as I find them very hard to work it and even harder to blend but this one is great to have in your handbag for quick touch ups or for those times when a pimple pops up out of nowhere and decides your face is now its new home. It has a lovely colour and is great for small blemishes, I would not use this as my main concealer as it just is too hard to blend and creases quite easily.
I am currently on the hunt for the perfect autumn/winter lip shades and this purple lippie will definitely be one I will be rocking throughout the darker months. It is a lovely dark purple, has a nice creamy consistency and I think will be quite impactful teamed with a neutral eye and for only £1, what’s not to love?
This is a felt tip liquid eyeliner that is really black and easy to apply. Both ends of this can be used for applying the eyeliner, with one applicator a little smaller than the other. It is really easy to use and has quite good staying power. The perfect eyeliner for everyday.
I absolutely love this stuff and I have it in two shades, Golden Lights and Pink Lights. They are gorgeous for applying in the inner corner of the eyes to make them pop and just above the cheekbones for that sensational glow. These beauties are only £3 each and are a must have as they are so versatile and can be used in so many different ways. To make your lips appear fuller just pop a little on the bow, to highlight your nose just dab a little on your finger and run it down the centre of your nose.
They are super pigmented too, this is how the pink lights look on – in love…
This is so pretty and works a treat. I love using this one to set my contour and add a little dimension and bronze loveliness to my face. It goes on effortlessly and is not glittery.
With 18 different gorgeous eyeshadows the eye looks using this beauty are endless. This palette would be perfect for travelling as it has such a variety of shades from light to dark, you can really create a whole host of completely different looks with this one.
This is a fantastic kit as it has powder for setting everything from your concealer to your highlight and even your contour. It also has some concealer shades and highlighting powders so it is the ultimate kit for perfecting your face.
Each of these items are well under £5 which is insane and they certainly do not feel like ‘cheap’ makeup, the quality is fantastic and the most of the items are dupes for much more expensive products.
