The Best Cleanser I Have Ever Used – Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

As much as I love applying lots of makeup and completely transforming my face, nothing quite beats taking every last bit of it off. You know the feeling after a long day of having a full face of makeup on, you get home take it all off and then lather your skin in a lush moisturiser – absolute bliss.

That feeling of fresh, clean, moisturised skin is hard to beat and when you do wear a lot of makeup it is even more important to get a really good cleanser that is capable of removing all traces of it. My absolute favourite is the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish because it makes my skin feel amazing and gets it squeaky clean.

I have the limited edition Cleanse & Polish Beauty Trio which was designed to celebrate 20 years of Liz Earle. It includes three different versions of the ever popular Cleanse & Polish – Rose & Lavender, Grapefruit & Patchouli and Orange Flower & Chamomile, all absolute gems and no I will not pick a favourite as that is just too hard.

They say:

Our original, multi award-winning hot cloth cleanser quickly removes daily grime and make up to leave skin clean, soft and radiant. Ideal for your morning or evening cleanse, this formulation works on every age and skin type, offering concentrated yet gentle cleansing power. Our plant-based cleanser has a two-phase action. Phase one is the cleansing. Free from mineral oil, it has a rich and creamy texture and swiftly removes all traces of face and eye make up, even stubborn mascara. Phase two is the polishing. Polish off the cream using the pure muslin cloth to gently dislodge dead skin cells and help reveal clean, soft and radiant skin.

I really love this stuff and my skin feels absolutely amazing after using it. The process of applying it is a really relaxing one as it feels like a lovely pampering treat. You only use one or two pumps meaning the 100ml product should last you ages, and then you work it on to your face. Using the muslin cloth that comes with it, you rinse it under warm water and use it to remove all the product. It really feels like you are getting every ounce of dirt off your face and literally gives you that squeaky clean feeling. It is a real treat for the skin and they recommend you do it morning and night. Unfortunately I never have time in the morning for my full skincare routine as I am always rushing out the door but in the evenings after work I love to come home pop my hair up into a bun and do every skincare step known to man, which from now will always start with this beauty.IMG_1175Instructions

Verdict:

If you are on the lookout for an amazing cleanser that feels like a real treat and really works to get rid of all the nasties that may be on your face, then I would invest in this one. It will be a product that I buy time and time again as no other cleanser comes close to the amazing clean feeling that this Liz Earle one gives me.

I also enjoy using the micellar waters to get rid of makeup and cleanse my face as they are much quicker but they definitely do not give as clean a feeling as this little beauty does.

Have you got an absolute favourite cleanser?

These sound amazing! I’ve heard so many good reviews I’m really wanting to try them out, however for me personally they’re pricey. I might invest though as they sound so luxurious, the trio looks amazing xxx
