My Top 15 Makeup Products of 2015

2015 was a year that saw many a new makeup product join my collection. Makeup shopping has just become a bit (read a lot) of an obsession as I find myself on the constant quest for those life changing products. I expect 2016 to be no different and will see me acquire quite a lot more cosmetic goodies – sorry bank balance but they’re necessities!

In today’s post I have rounded up 15 of my absolute favourite makeup products that I have been constantly reaching for throughout the year. They’re the ones that I buy time and time again and restock the minute they appear to be running out because heaven forbid a girl runs out of her favourite highlighter when trying to create a killer glow.

1. The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer

This beautiful highlighter is now officially a cult product that every makeup fantatic has in their kit. It is one of the best highlighters I have ever used and is a true thing of beauty! Full review coming soon.

2. The Nudes Maybelline Palette

This eyeshadow palette is fantastic for creating a whole host of different looks thanks to the range of matte and sparkly shades, for the full review just click on the title.

3. Makeup Revolution Liquid Eyeliner

I have mentioned this so many times before as I am totally obsessed with it and am yet to find any other liquid eyeliner that can even come close to it. For a price point of less than £5 it is an absolute must have for any liquid liner lover.

4. MAC Global Glow

This is a gorgeous glimmer bronze shade that makes the cheekbones really pop, for more check out this post.

5. Seveenteen Shimmer Brick

This beauty is a dupe for the the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick and is a fraction of the price. The thing I love about this is that it’s so versatile you can use it as a highlight, bronzer or eyeshadow. Full review here.

6. PS Lip Liner

I only discovered these about 2 months ago and I am totally in love with them. They are only £1/€1.50 and are so amazing on the lips with a fantastic colour payoff – again another makeup must have.

7. MAC Lipstick

While these are not a new discovery they are my go to lipstick for any night out, the colour pigment is insane, they are super long lasting and durable and don’t transfer on to absolute everything your lips touch like some other lippys do. MAC lippys will always have a special place in my heart as I was wearing one the night I got engaged. (So soppy but so true!)

8. W7 Banana Dream

My lovely sister just introduced me to this amazing product at Christmas. It is a dupe for the Ben Nye Banana Powder which goes for over $40 and is the perfect product to set your under eye concealer, keep an eye out (pun intended) for a tutorial using this coming soon.

9. Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

This is a beautiful foundation that is now my go to for day time full coverage. It really freshens and brightens up the face and makes it look glowy and alive, it has a lovely consistency and the colour is just perfect with not even a hint of orange.

10. Revlon False Lashes

I have gone through quite a few packs of these lashes over the Christmas season and totally love them. They are super light on the lids and look quite natural all the while making your lashes look long and wispy.

11. Revolution Highlighers

Again, I have raved about these so much in the past but they are one of my firm favourites and I now have all they colours they stock. My favourite is the pink lights one as it is perfect for popping in to the corners of the eyes to make them brighter and appear larger.

12. Maybelline Better Skin Concealer

Another firm favourite within my makeup kit, it offers high coverage and is the perfect colour for concealing the under eye area.

13. Maybelline Velvet Volume Mascara

I saw that this mascara had been crowned one of the best for 2015 on Stylist.co.uk so obviously I just had to try it out. At first I didn’t love it but just like with most mascaras you have to give them a few tries before deciding if they work for you or not. After trialling this for a little over a week it is officially one of my favourites, it makes the lashes really full and long.

14. Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot

I love this primer as it evens out the skin tone and makes for the perfect base before applying foundation. I pop this on after my moisturiser has dried.

15. LA Girl Concealer

Saved the best for last! I have recently fell in love with this concealer and use it for contouring. The applicator tip makes it so easy to apply and the colour is the perfect bronzed shade – this is a product I will be repurchasing everytime it is even close to running out.

What is your most favourite makeup product that you discovered in 2015?
