February Favourites

I don’t normally post my monthly favourites but this month there have been quite a few products that I have been really impressed with and will certainly be repurchasing so I thought I’d share them.

MAC Strobe Cream

First up is this little cutie, it is a brightening cream that will act like a base for your powder highlight. You pop it on where you want to be glowing and then set it with your highlighter of choice. For a gorgeous glow I love to mix a little of this in with my foundation as it gives the skin so much luminousity.

 Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

This is my favourite ‘drugstore’ foundation  it blends so easily into the skin and settles in a very soft way. It makes the skin look more alive and bright so its fantastic for first thing in the morning when your face would rather still be on a pillow.

 Makeup Revolution Primer

The consistency of this is very similar to the Maybeline Baby Skin, it feels so nice on the face and goes on to create what feels like a film over your face leaving a clear base for a flawless foundation. My makeup always seems to stay put whenever I use this and for £5 it really is a fantastic product!

 Makeup Revolution Blush Palette

I completely  forgot I had this beauty until I was reorganising all my makeup and  rediscovered it which I’m so glad I did. The shades are so pigmented and the choice is fantastic as it includes pinks, peaches and two highlight shades. Right now I am in love with the peachy orange tones as I think it really complements a bronzed concour.

Ciate X Olivia Palermo lipstick in Truffle

I am obsessed with this lipstick, it is so creamy when applied and the nude colour is absolutely gorgeous. It has real staying power too and with the stunning gold bullet casing there is nothing I don’t love about it.

 Benefit Benetint

I am still a little unsure about this product but I thought I would include it as I find I have been reaching for it quite a lot this month. It is a liquid blush that turns to powder on the skin, I really love the colour and the appearance of flushed cheeks which it gives but you’ve got to be quick to work it when you apply otherwise it may become patchy.

 PS Lip Liners

I have raved about these before and they are still some of my absolute favourite lip liners. The consistency is fantastic and I especially love the two darker shades. I sometimes like to wear them on their own because the colour is so nice but the only thing I would say is that they can feel a little drying on the lips so I like to pop on a little slick of clear gloss or Vaseline.

It is fab, especially when you mix it in with your foundation as it gives a lovely dewy finish X
