I like to think that when you find an amazing makeup product that works fantastically and is really affordable it is much more satisfying that finding one that works well but costs a fortune. We all love a bargain especially when it comes to makeup because the cheaper it is the more we can buy #winning!
W7 Honolulu Bronzer €3.50
No guesses as to what this little beauty is trying to be just like, why it’s the Benefit Hoola Bronzer of course, it looks pretty much identical but is a fraction of the price. I have never tried this bronzer before but the packaging and little brush that comes with it looks so cute. The bronzer itself is a lovely colour which shows no signs of orange or glitter so it should be perfect for setting a cream contour.
W7 Banana Dreams €4.50
I raved about this product before here and this is a repurchase for me. It is quickly becoming a staple item in my makeup bag as it is fantastic for setting under eye concealer. It locks in the highlight meaning it doesn’t budge all night and stops it from creasing so it’s win win really.
Catrice Prime and Fine Pore Refining Anti-Shine Base €4.95
This sounds like the most perfect primer so when I spotted it on display I had to pick it up and put it to the test. Pore minimising and skin mattifying are two things this primer promise to deliver, two things I consider to be crucial when choosing a primer so lets hope it delivers on it’s promises.
PS 30PK Individual Lashes €1.50
I will admit that I am yet to master the art of applying individual lashes, I can put strip lashes on in my sleep but individuals are just so tricky. However, when I recently saw Pippa from pippa.ie raving about these on snapchat I thought I would try them out again, I mean for the price how could you not? I just hope I can master them as I think individuals are fantastic for when you want a more natural look.
Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss in 08 Glamour To Go €2.30
This is a gorgeous every day gloss that feels so luscious on the lips and smells define. Thanks to it being so cheap it is one you can just apply and reapply until to your hearts content. It’s not at all sticky, it feels really light on the lips and this gorgeous neutral shade looks fab over the top of a nude lip liner or lipstick.
Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in 25 Say Hi Light €1.90
One fail safe way to make your eyes look bigger and brighter is to apply a nude eyeliner on to your water line. This Essence one is so cost effective, really works and is the perfect shade for brightening and making your eyes pop.
Wet n Wild Will You Be With Me? Lipstick €2
I am a big fan of the Wet n Wild lipsticks, they are really pigmented, long lasting and for €2 you really can not go wrong. They are perfect for everyday and this nude pinky shade is one I will certainly be getting lots of wear out of day to day.
Rimmel Lipstick in 004 Indulgence €5
Rimmel again are fantastic for lipsticks as they are cost effective, really durable and have an amazing colour selection. I picked up this super bright pink shade recently, a colour I think will look fantastic for spring, if it ever comes.
