My love for Chanel is eternal and I dream of the day when I can visit a flagship store and buy anything I wish. This obsession is one my other half knows only too well about and I’m extremely lucky to have him as he actually feeds my Chanel addiction by buying me jewellery, makeup and perfume. He certainly knows the way to my heart or maybe he just sick of me going on about Chanel and buying it is the only thing to shut me up, either way I’m happy.
Most recently for Valentine’s Day he got me the beautiful Chance by Chanel perfume and I am totally in love with it. He has also previously got me the Chanel Coco Mademoiselle another stunning fragrance. Both are to die for yet both are so different.
Coco Mademoiselle is described as oriental-fresh, with a floral jasmine-rose accord, as light as a petal. A beautiful scent I love that lasts and lasts. It’s a fragrance that you spritz on for a special occasion as it just smells of luxury and pure decadence. It has an air of sophistication and is a true timeless classic, one I will have on my dressing table for many years to come.
Chanel Chance is depicted as the unexpected floral fragrance, for women who know that in order to be lucky, you have to believe in chance! The emphasis on the floral and vanilla notes makes Chance Parfum a more lush and voluptuous version of the fragrance. It is a much sweeter scent and a lot more vibrant. It has a completely different feel to the Coco Mademoiselle as it is much livelier and makes the perfect scent for a party or a night on the town.
Chanel to me is the epitome of luxury and their fragrances are my absolute favourties. The bottles and packaging always scream luxury with each scent telling its own individual story and making you feel a certain way.
Coco Chanel knew that she wanted to empower women and make them feel confident two things any good perfume should do. We all use it as the last step in the getting ready progress and when you spritz it on it peaks your senses, puts more of a pep in your step and gets you ready for a fantastic night out, especially when said perfume is from Chanel.
