Catrice is a makeup brand that I have never really purchased much from. Up until quite recently I had only ever tried their lipsticks which by the way I absolutely adore as they have such a strong pigment and feel luxurious on the lips. As I knew I loved their lippy’s I had been eager to try out a few other things from Catrice Cosmetics and here are the trio of new products that I chose.
Allround Concealer €4.50
This palette is the product I am most excited to try and when I spotted it on the stand I quickly grabbed it as it was the last one. It includes 5 different shades, 3 for highlighting and contouring and two for colour correcting, green to cancel out any redness and orange to hide any blue tones. Colour correcting has become big business in recent months and I am an avid fan of the NYX set which I wrote about previously here. I use the orange shade to conceal my dark circles and apply it just after primer and then cover it up with foundation and concealer. I can’t wait to test this concealer set and see how good the coverage will be, full review coming soon.
Prime and Fine Pore Refining Anti-Shine Base €4.50
A perfect primer for making your pores appear smaller and for getting rid of any unwanted shine. I have tried this out a few times now and have been really impressed with how well my makeup went on and how long it stayed on. Lovely primer for day wear.
Luxury Lips Intensive Care Gloss €4
This is a beautiful lip oil that makes your lips feel amazing and look really glossy. The product quickly sinks into the lips giving them a nourished feel. It contains argan, jojoba and camellia which are all widely know for their healing properties for skin and hair. I just wish this product was bigger as I am going through this so quickly.
All of these products are made in Italy which I love as when you think of Italy you think of quality and food of course. Overall, I think that Catrice offers a fantastic range of products and at a really cost effective price so I will certainly be adding lots more of their goodies to my collection soon.
