Christmas Inspired Makeup

Christmas makeup to me means gold and glitter often teamed with a striking red lip, you know a look that would rival a Christmas tree. This makeup look has the gold and the glitter for the eyes and lots of highlight for the face to ensure it’s not just the lights that are shining this season.   img_3845

For this gold glittery eye look I used my number 1 – the Anastasia Beverly Hills Renaissance palette. I used the shades Buon Fresco, Love Letter and Cyprus Umber in the crease and blended each shade to within an inch of their life. For the lids I used the beautiful gold shimmer shade Primavera that is so pigmented and looks amazing on the eyes. To give the look an added pop and because you can never have too much glitter I put a little rose gold liquid glitter liner from Collection into the tear ducts.img_1551

For the skin I used my favourite day wear foundation, Flormar Perfect Coverage and using the Sleek Solstice palette I pretty much covered my face in highlight because it’s Christmas so you really do want to shine as bright as your tree! To finish the look I decided to keep the lips neutral and used MAC’s Viva Glam II.img_3886

I hope you like this look. What is your favourite makeup look at Christmas time?
